People Lie
Don't cry a river, don't be mad
Don't be gloomy, neither be sad
There's a simple fact I'll tell you
It's this: people lie
It doesn't matter if you plead
People lie like the goodness of smoked weed
Now they say that ignorance is bliss
But it is the subtle things they say that we miss
With use of the smoothest words they can find
They lie to you and are fine
Some lie for protection of them or others
Afraid of outcome veracity brings
Some lie for money or wealth or power
Because all that matters are the comfy things
Some lie with pleasure to spite some person
The outcome brings much satisfaction
But some do lie for lying sake
Never caring what outcome it breaks
No lie can succeed though without one's trust
The working of lies on trust - a must
A liar's lie is his own creation
And when it succeeds brings much elation
Or when it fails; brings must frustration
One's pride is broken through the unsuccessful notion
Some therefore are excellent while some are bad
The more of your trust; the more you are had
So trust no one and question all things
The lie will crumble when the truth bell rings
You're probably wondering: is it needed?
Must lying exist in this world undeleted?
To this I say yes for the simple fact
This world is full of sin and tact
Though some be truthful, the lies won't end
For the evil in man is never a friend.
