Activate Diligence

Slow but not steady, go but not ready
I'm just sitting on earth doing nothing already
Every day every hour I'm just lazing around
And I'm all about sleep because I'm feeling all down

Spending most of my day as I listen to sounds
There are  things to be done
There are places to be gone
I know I must do it but I haven't begun

Must muster the will to fire the gun
But I would rather run
Though my body feels like it weighs a tonne
Yes my flesh is weak at every turn

So I stare at the ceiling or look out the view
Or I start daydreaming about a thing or two
But I never get started on items of taste
The doing of the nothing is all such a waste

This cannot continue; this useless state
No time to be idle must demonstrate
Let the will of action be transferred to me
And with wonderful wisdom let me start to be

It is time, yes it's time for productivity
Move on out of this spirit of despondency
Set the switch of my power on priority
Set the mind of my heart as authority

No more giving myself mediocrity
Satisfied with partial giving is such a fallacy
I will be all that I can and really wanna be
Break the chains and be free from calamity

Yes the time that is now is the best for use
Stead of doing the same, I will stop the abuse
No more laying low and waiting for the will
Shiftless, worthless vibes I just have to kill

Like a wolf with a meal
Work must be a thrill
It's the time to get it on like I've never before
A time to get moving and get on the go

A time to work hard and open up the door
A time for peaceful plus positive aura flow
A time like no other for all that I know
To give of my all as I stand and grow

No more indolence - the time has arrived
Activate diligence to stay alive
Through all that's happened I have survived
I'm out to conquer with spirit revived
