The Wisdom of God

The wisdom of God is beyond our minds
It is pure, then peaceable and then it is kind
It's easy to ask of and filled with good mercy
It holds not partiality nor any hypocrisy

The wisdom of God is deemed foolish by men
But the foolishness of God is wiser than them
And Christ is that wisdom for he is the word
To us, he's made wisdom to confound this world

God's wisdom is principal for understanding
Ask of Him and it's yours for the keeping
It is better than rubies and incomparable
It dwells with prudence and heals the simple

The wisdom of God comes by keeping his laws
Hating all evil, it fixes our flaws
A good understanding have all that do his commands
Forsaking all sin, with his laws we stand
